Harry Begg
Occupational Therapist
With over 5 years of experience across diverse community settings, Harry has dedicated his career to helping people navigate the often complex NDIS landscape. Harry believes that every individual deserves the opportunity to engage in the activities that give their life meaning and enjoyment, regardless of the barriers they face. Harry’s approach to therapy is rooted in the sentiment that therapy is a true partnership; by combining your lived experience with my Harry’s clinical knowledge, you can build a life of greater independence, dignity and purpose.
Harry has extensive experience working within the NDIS framework, ensuring that every assessment and intervention is backed by clear evidence and a client-centred approach. Harry’s background includes:
- Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), to provide a clear picture of your daily life and support requirements.
- Housing and Living Support: helping people to navigate the justification process for SIL (Supported Independent Living) and SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation).
- Assistive Technology: to appropriately recommend everything from simple daily aids to complex equipment.
- Home Modifications: to help make sure your environment is suitable for your needs.
When Harry is not at work, he is likely recharging with a walk through the local park or catching a movie. He is a big sports fan – you will find Harry cheering on the St Kilda Football Club (through the highs and lows) and keeping a close eye on the NBA. Recently, Harry also started learning to draw digital art, which has been a wonderful (and humbling) challenge.
