Occupational Therapist
Charis is an Occupational Therapist at Posity who is passionate about supporting individuals to participate meaningfully in their everyday lives. She completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Monash University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and person-centred care.
Charis has experience working with children and young people across home, school, and community settings. She has supported individuals with diverse developmental and functional needs, focusing on areas such as self-care, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and social participation. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and believes that trust and consistency are essential foundations for positive outcomes.
Her approach to therapy is strengths-based and goal-oriented. Charis aims to create engaging and supportive sessions tailored to each client’s interests, abilities, and environment. She is committed to ongoing learning and professional development to ensure her practice remains evidence-informed and responsive to the needs of the people she supports.
Outside of work, Charis is a cat person and enjoys spending time with her cat, Udon. She values quiet moments at home as well as time with family and friends, and enjoys exploring new cafés and staying active in the community.
