
Amy Barklamb
Occupational Therapist
Amy has a keen interest in paediatrics and a passion for incorporating evidence-based practice into her therapy. She is a proactive and enthusiastic therapist, adopting a family centred, child-led approach while promoting participation, engagement and independence with the participants she works with. Her playful, engaging and caring energy allow her to build rapport and connect with both children and adults easily.
Amy has a true passion for supporting neurodiversity and advocating for neurodiverse children and their needs.Amy comes to Posity with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice and a Bachelor in Nutrition Science from Monash University. Amy is passionate about evidence-based learning and research, having published papers while working for Monash University’s Nutrition and Dietetics department. Amy also brings clinical administrative, and project management experience to the Posity team. Amy has current experience working with paediatric clients in the clinic, via Telehealth and within the community. Amy also has experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments, both with children and adults.
Outside of work Amy enjoys baking sweet treats (ask to try her cookies!), grabbing coffee from her local cafe, playing footy with friends and spending time with her dogs.
