Sylvia Liao

Occupational Therapist

Sylvia is a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Therapy from Nanjing, China. With expertise in early intervention, play-based therapy, and sensory processing, Sylvia helps children develop essential life skills, gain independence, and reach their full potential.

Sylvia has experience working with children of all ages and developmental needs, using evidence-based, engaging, and play-centred approaches. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she fosters strong connections with diverse families and ensures effective communication throughout the therapy process.

Sylvia takes a family-centred approach, equipping parents with practical strategies to support their child’s development at home. Her sessions are designed to be fun, functional, and tailored to each child’s needs.

When she’s not in the clinic, Sylvia loves exploring nature, trying new cuisines, and engaging in creative projects—activities that often inspire her playful therapy sessions.
