Paige McDowell

Occupational Therapist

Paige obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from La Trobe University. Her clinical experience is vast with hands on experience in hospital, community and private settings. Paige has honed her skills in empowering individuals with a range of conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. Her broad experience enriches her practice, enabling her to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our clients.

Paediatrics is where Paige’s heart truly lies. She employs a family-centred approach that not only engages the child but also involves their family in developing therapy goals. Her interventions are designed to integrate seamlessly with the family’s routine, making therapy a fun, play-based experience that resonates with children’s interests and strengths. This method helps build strong rapport and meaningful connections with her clients, fostering an environment where children feel understood and supported in their growth.

Outside of work, Paige has a variety of hobbies and interests she enjoys participating in, such as reading and exploring bookstores for her next favourite book, spending quality time with friends and family, trying new cafes and restaurants with friends and spending time with her cat.
