With a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice, Nicole’s comprehensive understanding of both mental and physical conditions sets her apart.
Her clinical experience is vast, encompassing work with clients in community and hospital settings, where she has made significant impacts on the lives of those with stroke, cerebral palsy, self-harm, traumatic brain injury, functional neurological disorder, autism, and developmental delays.
Paediatrics is where Nicole’s heart truly lies. She thrives on assisting children in setting and achieving their goals, focusing on essential daily occupations such as play, self-care, and school activities. Nicole’s approach to therapy is marked by creativity and fun, ensuring that her sessions not only engage her young clients but also maximise their developmental potential. She places a strong emphasis on building collaborative relationships with children and their families, utilising a strengths-based approach to highlight each child’s capabilities and foster meaningful rapport.
Outside of her professional life, Nicole’s weekends are filled with simple pleasures that recharge her spirit. Whether it’s enjoying coffee runs with her dog, delving into the pages of a good book, or watching horror movies at home, Nicole’s personal hobbies reflect her love for life’s varied experiences.
