Sally Mohitian
Founder / Clinical Director
Founder and now the Clinical Advisor of Posity, Sally is passionate about growing a high quality, evidence based, allied health practice to service the Northern & Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Sally has a lifelong love of learning, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills, as well as a passion to empower others to reach their full potential.
With a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy), Postgraduate Certificate in Paediatrics and a Master of Advanced Occupational Therapy, Sally brings 12+ years of clinical and theoretical experience to the practice. Sally has worked across multiple settings, including community health, mainstream, special and special developmental schools, early intervention, private practice and hospitals. This broad experience provides a strong foundation of skills to ensure high quality service delivery across the team.
Sally also provides guest lecturing services to La Trobe University in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Paediatrics. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills as Clinical Advisor, not only the Posity team, but to other external Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and to occupational therapy students.
Sally is an active member of Occupational Therapy Australia and is a registered Better Access to Mental Health Clinician. Currently, she is also participating in a research project alongside La Trobe University & Monash University to determine the effectiveness of the “We Care Program” – A parent group program created in conjunction with Dr Anoo Bhopti to empower and support families of children with disabilities.
Sally is mum to a busy toddler and enjoys learning firsthand all of the lived experiences that parents face and bringing these new skills into her clinical and education roles.
