Li Wei stands out as a dedicated member of our occupational therapy team, boasting a wealth of experience that spans across all ages. From the nuanced demands of aged care to the vibrant energy of paediatric clinics and the complex challenges of community mental health, her versatility shines through. Li Wei earned her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Newcastle, laying a solid foundation for her impressive career.

With a particular passion for paediatrics, Li Wei has honed her skills in supporting children with a range of diagnoses and developmental stages. Her approach to therapy goes beyond traditional methods, focusing on enhancing daily life skills such as self-care, fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and emotional regulation. She believes in the power of using a family’s unique interests and strengths as the cornerstone of her interventions, ensuring that every strategy is personalised and impactful.

Li Wei’s ability to build deep, meaningful connections with both children and their families is central to her practice. She is committed to guiding her clients toward achieving their goals, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for every family she works with. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, Li Wei’s multilingual skills further enable her to reach a diverse clientele, making her an invaluable asset to our team.

Outside of her professional life, Li Wei is passionate about staying active and embraces a variety of fitness activities, including Muay Thai, boxing, jogging, and dancing. Her love for spending quality time with friends and family reflects her belief in the importance of community and personal well-being, principles that she brings into every aspect of her work.
